Greensboro's Glenwood Neighborhood

Alumni and current staff offered public speaking workshops and coaching for members of Greensboro's Glenwood Neighborhood. All activities took place at The HIVE in Greensboro where community members organized seeking change after a June study found African American males have far under performed compared to all other students in our public school system - for the past 22 years. Speaking center support prepared community members to address the Board of Education. The persuasive presentations to the BoE started in July and continued into the fall semester.
