From which media can you view my recording?

FROM WHAT MEDIUM CAN THE SPEAKING CENTER PLAYBACK MY RECORDING?

1. DVD-R
2. VHS
3. VHS C (we have VHS converters)
4. Camcorder - If your camcorder can attach to the red, yellow, and white plugs on a VCR/DVD player or TV we can play it back but not without your cord. Bring your camcorder and cord to plug it into our system. If you know how to operate your camcorder in playback mode we can watch it together.
   
   If you recorded with a digital camcorder you'll need to burn the recording onto a DVD-R and bring the DVD-R in for viewing.
5. Removable Storage - Memory Stick Standard, SD Memory Card, Mini SD Card, MultiMedia Card, RS-MMC, Compact Flash I/II, Microdrive, SmartMedia, & xD-Picture Card

WHAT DO I DO IF MY RECORDING IS ON AN 8MM TAPE AND I DON'T HAVE THE CAMCORDER AND CORD TO BRING TO THE SPEAKING CENTER?
Go to the TRC (second floor Ferguson Building) with your 8mm recording AND a BLANK VHS tape or DVD-R to transfer it onto VHS or DVD-R. This needs to be done BEFORE you go to the Speaking Center for your appointment. The total time of the recording isÊhow long it will take for you to transfer it.
Transfer Tip - if you only need for us to view 10 minutes you can transfer just ten minutes worth of the total recording.
