Unsolicited feedback!

From student-staff:

Although I was only able to participate in Friday sessions, I still had a lot of fun and learned from them. I hope all conference attendees exchanged info and ideas about how to make all speaking centers and labs the best they can be.

NACC was much more then I expected. It was awesome to see the other centers and compare and contrast characteristics. I always have problems writing what I actually do at the speaking center/lab on my resume. After the first workshop I definitely mastered it! I also made a great contact with the head of the Grad program in the Comm dept. at UNCG.

I never knew that speaking centers and labs were making such a big impact on college campuses. I learned a lot from the other consultants/tutors/coaches/mentors that I think we could use at our center. I had a great time and enjoyed the experience.

I had a lot of fun at the conference! Most importantly, I got to know a lot of our staff a little bit better! I also learned a lot about communicating with other people from different schools.

Without exception, this was a great Sixth NACC gathering. Just wish I could grab my consultants and get them to attend these.

UNCG's overall CAC program and university speaking center serve as great models for those of us launching initiatives of this type. The conference proved of tremendous benefit.

From your beautiful campus, to the detailed consideration we received from you and your staff, it was a wonderful climate in which to learn. Our staff enjoyed it too; as they get accustomed to expectations at these conferences, I think they will bloom and be more outgoing in meeting other folks. I am proud of their participation in your sessions.

There was a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and good will...and also some very good conversation going on. Very nice.

What a great conference! I was scheduled to speak at the very tail end of what looked to be a jam-packed weekend--so I anticipated a low-energy, winding down kind of atmosphere. Wrong! I got there about 10 minutes early, and the halls were absolutely BUZZIN'! So much energy and excitement.

On Saturday I was blown away by the attendance, the people from all over the country, the quality conversation and questions. Truly, just amazing.

The attendance was amazing. I ran into Chancellor Sullivan after my workshop and as we walked, she gave glowing comments to the conference as well.

I was impressed by the energy that filled the classroom, the hallways, and everywhere.

I decided I should stay all day to learn more.

It was a huge success.
