Airports

The Piedmont Triad International Airport (airport code = GSO, but designated locally as PTI) is located 7.6 miles from the UNCG.

As an alternative to flying to Greensboro direct, consider flying into the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (1 hour drive) or the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (1.5 hour drive) and renting a car or van for the drive.

Buses & Trains

Greyhound Bus Lines has a terminal at 234 A E. Washington Street and operates bus lines Monday-Sunday. For more details on schedules and rates, visit their website or call them at (336) 272-8950.

North Carolina Amtrak offers 8 trains daily at the Greensboro Depot on 236 E. Washington Street. For more details on schedules and rates, visit their website or call them at (336) 272-6755

Ground Transportation

Shuttle services from the PTI airport are offered by some hotels (not the conference hotels). Please consult the list on PTI’s site and the hotel you are staying in for more information.
