Let’s Communicate

This program started as an evening on-campus open enrollment class, designed for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The goal remains to teach communication skills through interactive activities. The weekly program invited members of the community to join us for learning that was fun and provided in a relaxed environment led by trained undergraduates who are Speaking Center Consultants. In March 2020 we quickly shifted to online video self-paced programming as Let’s Communicate went virtual. Episodes of the program are listed below.

We hope to offer outside programming beginning in fall 2021. As in the past, we will ask that participants be accompanied by and adult that they stay with us for the full session.

All are invited to learn and have fun with us! Many of our consultants participating in this program are passionate about this work. We welcome the opportunities to engage with all who participate.
