In what ways have faculty across the curriculum been utilizing the consultation services of the speaking center for interpersonal communication assignments?

Some faculty have required students to take advantage of our support for Non-Native speakers of English. Others have required that their students practice or receive instruction before going out to conduct an informational interview.

We work with individual faculty members to design consultation plans for their students. While the session plans are designed to support the specific interpersonal communication conventions of each discipline, they are also rooted in strong pedagogy and speaking center best practices.
