I would have to say that my favorite SC story is from last semester, Spring 2021. We were still working virtually, so we were all on the Google Meet talking during our shift. I forget who said it, but the idea came up that we should all go around and say something we like about everyone there. As we all went around, people said the kindest things about each other and shared fun memories they had with everyone and eventually the tears started coming. That moment showed me exactly why we call ourselves a “speaking fam”. Everyone is so supportive of each other and you know you always have a friend to turn to when you come to your shift. I wouldn’t have traded the past 2 years here for anything.
