Support for Advanced Speakers

We provide support to advanced speakers who are working on speeches which are longer, more sustained, or larger in scope. Advanced speakers are generally faculty, staff, or graduate students who are preparing for a conference paper or poster presentation, a speech competition, getting ready for the defense of a thesis or dissertation, need assistance with their own classroom communication, or need to give speeches as part of their duties at UNCG.

Those who participate in our support for advanced speakers program work closely with a single consultant who meets with them (online) consistently, gets to know their speech needs well, and is able to help them through the process of speech making.
